Morning Photo Tour

From our meeting point under the arcades of the Plaza Mayor, we will enjoy a pleasant stroll through the streets of Palma’s old town, discovering the main monuments and beautiful corners steeped in history.

Striking modernist buildings will introduce us to the fascinating life of the old Jewish ghetto (el Call), with its labyrinth of narrow streets. We will climb up to the terraces of the Church of Santa Eulalia, one of the oldest in Palma, to enjoy its Gothic architecture up close and a beautiful panoramic view over the rooftops.

From Plaza de Corts, the beating heart of the city’s political life, we will lose ourselves in the labyrinth of narrow streets of the Upper Town, reliving all its artistic periods – from the Middle Ages to the Contemporary – in the cool, quiet courtyards of its palaces.

After a short walk, we can admire the monumental complex formed by Majorca Cathedral (‘La Seu’) and the Royal Palace of La Almudaina, surrounded by Renaissance walls. We will have the opportunity to photograph these wonderful buildings from different angles before entering the King’s Gardens, with their Arabic-style fountains.
